Learning Resources
Below you will find the learning resources for each of our Fall 2026 songs. If you’d like to warm up before practicing, you’ll find the warm-up track at the bottom of the page. Notes about how to use these resources:
- Part-dominant tracks will help you to learn your individual part – the piano accompaniment and all voices are played, but the Soprano, Alto or Bass part is dominant, i.e. louder to help you hear and learn it.
- Sometimes parts will split for a few notes or a few bars, and we will decide at rehearsal how these splits will work. Where a section has a split part, two rehearsal tracks are provided. Be sure you use the one you’ve been assigned – either part 1 for the higher notes, or part 2 for the lower.
- Once you’re comfortable with your part, try singing it with the Balanced track – this best simulates the actual choir environment where you’ll hear all parts around you. Avoid becoming dependent on the part-dominant track as you’ll have trouble integrating into the full choir at rehearsal.
- These tracks adhere strictly to the printed music. We often make changes during rehearsal to omit a part, have another section sing it, have a whole section sing a solo part, etc. It is critical that you mark your parts during rehearsal and/or using the change alerts published in your weekly email update so that you can differentiate rehearsal instructions from the practice tracks. In all cases, rehearsal instructions prevail.
